VPN connection

As part of our infrastructure services, we provide VPN connectivity through the BlueLine VPN Box. VPN stands for “Virtual Private Network”. It securely connects multiple locations into one private network and enables controlled access to company data from home offices or mobile workstations. Traffic is encrypted and protected from unauthorized third-party access.

Many routers include basic VPN functionality. That can be convenient for small setups because DSL and VPN management are combined in one device.

In practice, however, VPN encryption requires significant computing power. Most combined devices do not provide enough performance for demanding VPN use. The result is often low VPN throughput or a limited number of simultaneous connections.

Enterprise VPN appliances can support more users and higher bandwidth, but they are expensive and typically require substantial administration.

The BlueLine VPN Box is built on proven open-source software. Its modules provide state-of-the-art VPN security. The system is designed to use nearly the full available DSL bandwidth for VPN traffic.

It supports both site-to-site connections and mobile clients.

For small and medium-sized businesses, kindergartens, clubs, and distributed organizations, the VPN Box provides a simple way to connect employees and locations securely. We install it in your existing network, interconnect your sites, and enable authorized users to connect securely while on the move.
